Select hearing aid models may be subsidised under the Irish Government’s Treatment Benefit Scheme for eligible clients. This scheme, administered by the Department of Social Protection, provides up to €500 per hearing aid, or €1,000 for a pair, once every four years. It also covers up to €100 towards hearing aid repairs within the same period. Eligibility is based on PRSI contributions and applies to employed, self-employed, and retired individuals who meet the criteria. You can check your eligibility by visiting the
